We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team and be a key contributor in our latest project. You will be responsible for configuring, operating, and automating cloud IaaS networks, as well as designing and implementing enterprise or service provider grade network hardware.
You will be working with a team of experts, utilizing your skills in routing protocols and your understanding of physical and virtual network technologies to ensure efficient network performance and behavior.
Responsibilities
Design and implement enterprise or service provider grade network hardware and cloud IaaS networks, ensuring efficient network performance and behavior
Configure, operate, and automate cloud IaaS networks, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Utilize intermediate to expert level skills in routing protocols, such as OSPF, MPBGP, ISIS, and MPLS, to ensure efficient network performance and behavior
Understand physical and virtual network technologies and how they interoperate to ensure efficient network performance and behavior
Incorporate appropriate models for given technologies into designs to observe network behavior and performance
Justify technology choices to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Telecommunications, or equivalent experience
At least 5 years of experience in configuring enterprise or service provider grade network hardware and cloud IaaS networks, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Intermediate to expert level skills in routing protocols, such as OSPF, MPBGP, ISIS, and MPLS
Drove technical design end-to-end of at least 3 projects
Strong knowledge of physical and virtual network technologies and how they interoperate
Experience with models used to show network state and for configuration, such as SNMP, NetFlow, IPFIX, Netconf, Restconf, and gRPC
