Key Responsibilities

Experience - 5 -10 years

  • User Administration including user creation, deletion, mass user administration in SAP ECC 6.0
  • Maintain task-based role design including both functional and sensitive data restrictions
  • Work closely with SAP functional teams to create or update roles that meet audit requirements as well as meet functional requirements for end users.
  • Work with Business Process Owners for Role creations, changes, and user administration
  • Work with development team on authorization objects for custom transactions.
  • Support system and security audit and compliance activities.
  • Process SAP user access requests and support everyday troubleshooting of access problems.
  • Effectively analyze trace files and track missing authorizations for user access problems.
  • Support Basis team in monitoring the system.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology-related or Business Management preferred
  • 5 years of experience in SAP security administration in ECC 6.0 focus on SAP Financials

Solid Understanding Of

  • SAP application security implementation methodologies, role-based access controls and different applications threats
  • Segregation of duties (SoD) concepts, able to drive security role remediation plans for audit and compliance related findings
  • SAP authorization concept, roles, different user and role types, and user administration on different SAP platforms
  • Implementation and troubleshooting experience involving SAP Access security
  • Strong experience in developing and maintaining custom roles and privileges (system privileges / object privileges)
  • Strong experience working with Role-Based Security
  • Ability to analyze business challenges/problems and provide clear recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills, able to partner with business users and have a strong desire to excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, written and verbal
