Job Summary:
Solar Ground Mounted Plant O&M Engineer/Senior Engineer will be responsible for the operation, repair, and maintenance of solar power plants. They need to ensure that the solar PV plants are operated safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the generation benchmarks of the company.
Responsibilities:
Ensure all works are performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company standards.
Perform regular maintenance on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and repair any issues with solar PV systems, including electrical (AC & DC) and mechanical component.
Ensure all works are performed with Safe practices.
General maintenance of plant including MMS and maintaining shadow free modules.
Operation and maintenance of MCS.
Prepare DGR for the plant.
Prepare RCA, CAPA.
Benchmarking and analysis of KPI such as Generation, Inverter performance, losses, auxiliary power consumption, PA, PR etc to maximize plant efficiency.
Ensuring compliance to Preventive Maintenance schedule.
Planning and management of spares, Man power, Budget.
Resource allocation and optimum utilization of resource.
Fault identification and rectification of SCB/SMB/Inverter/Panel/transformer/Meter/cables/MC4/Earthing/DC and AC system.
Perform string monitoring and completing module cleaning targets.
Executing any breakdown maintenance.
Coordinating with OEMs for spares, AMC, warranty and service requests.
Contract Management with Vendor/OEM.
Monitor plant daily through SCADA/ Portal.
Conducting monthly JMR.
Upkeep of SCADA and WMS.
Upkeep of data Telemetry System for data transmission from Plant to SLDC.
Tracking F&S data and Keep coordination with QCA.
F&S accuracy analysis and DSM verification.
Verification of module cleaning as per schedule.
Coordination with local communities, Contactors, Suppliers.
Conduct daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual checks, tests and calibration to verify proper operation and conditions.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain accurate records of operation & maintenance and repairs.
Provide detailed reports on system performance and any issues encountered.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Good understanding of PV systems and Electrical Concepts of AC & DC.
Well aware about ground mount plant safety practices.
Well Proficient with hand and power tools and instruments used in solar Plants.
Ability to work in Indoors & outdoors in various weather conditions at site.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Risk Management.
Good physical condition.
Domain knowledge of MS office.
Good communication skills.
Goal oriented.
Education Qualification:
Diploma or Degree in EE/EEE/EC
Experience:
Minimum 2-8 years or more experience in solar O&M.
