Our team advises a wide variety of pharmaceutical manufacturers throughout the United States on Government Pricing, Gross-to-Net (“GTN”), Compliance, rebate adjudication, and various other critical operational and strategic initiatives.

Riparian is seeking a GTN Senior Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Consultant on our team, you will work in a collaborative and supportive environment to create insights and value for clients.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the execution and delivery of consulting services for GTN engagements which commonly includes:
• Performing Gross-to-Net calculations
• Projecting segment and brand level forecasts.
• Assistance with establishing accrual rates.
• Analyzing actuals versus projections/accrued amounts and identifying the root cause for differences.
• Modeling/ Analytics/ Presentations:
• Assisting with Gross to Net Forecast modeling and accrual projections.
• Assessing and quantifying the financial impact of methodology and/or data changes.
• Interpreting and analyzing large datasets to develop analytics / solutions to support business needs.
• Preparing analysis, presentations, and assessment reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
• Contributing to the development of other finance and pharmaceutical training modules – Flow of Script, Third Party Logistics and Analytics, Financial Management, etc.
• Subject Matter Support:
• Provide consulting support relating to revenue management and gross-to-net.
• Assist with interpretation of commercial agreements and the U.S. Government Programs, such as Medicaid Drug Rebate Program, Medicare, Veterans Affairs, Public Health Services and their impact on GTN.
• Continuously improve and enhance GTN products/services by utilizing latest business analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx.
• Keep abreast of industry trends.
• Collaborate and contribute as a Consulting team member:
• Contribute to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members.
• Manage time independently to complete client work in accordance with workplans, quality standards, and timeframes.
• Foster strong relationships with client personnel and internal engagement team members.
• Identify efficiencies within the team to further streamline future engagement delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Accounting/ Finance, Economics, Business Administration or Technology related field with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
• Experience in life science revenue management including gross-to-net modeling and ASC 606.
• General understanding of Government Pricing compliance requirements and regulations
• Gross-to-net forecasting experience required.
• 4 years finance, gross to net and/or data analysis and modeling experience within the Life Science industry.
• Advanced analytical skills and the ability to synthesize findings.
• Strong experience working with large data sets or proficiency with data tools such as SQL, MS Access, MS Excel.
• Proficiency in Breakaway, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx or data analytics tools desired, but not required.
• Must possess the ability to support several projects/engagements concurrently with ease.
• Proven ability to function autonomously and exercise professional judgment on engagements by providing proactive solutions and recommendations.
• Strong ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats to various audiences in a professional business environment.
• Willingness to travel.
