Research Analyst

Reports to: Chief Investment Officer

Status: Exempt (remote or hybrid)

Job Description:

The Research Analyst role will be part of the Investment Management team and will report directly to the Chief Investment Officer at Apollon Wealth Management. This person will help enhance and support the Apollon investment platform, which includes proprietary strategies, 3rd party SMAs, direct indexing, alternative investments, and other solutions designed for high-net-worth clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor any updates or changes to approved products within the organization
  • Collaborate on due diligence efforts, assisting in the evaluation and analysis of potential opportunities
  • Ensure that product and marketing documentation remains current and accurate, reflecting the latest information and developments
  • Provide support to advisors by addressing their inquiries regarding the investment platform
  • Conduct ongoing research to identify optimal share classes for various third-party funds, optimizing investment strategies
  • Assist in supporting investment and risk management committees, providing necessary information and analysis for decision-making processes

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's degree.

Skills and Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years experience in financial services
  • Working towards (or intention to work towards) the CFA or other investment management designation(s).
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong excel skills
  • Self-motivated
