As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Specialist (Logistics)to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s (NOAA) National Data Buoy Center (NDBC).
Coordinate/arrange Field Service Mission equipment transportation (land and sea) to/from embarkation/debarkation ports.
Knowledge of and experience with EPA requirements for handling and shipping hazardous materials.
QA outgoing/incoming shipments
Coordinate and supervise the loading/unloading of Field Service trucks on NDBC
Coordinate travel for Field Service Teams and provide 24/7 support as needed.
Holds current DOT recognized certification of completion of Hazard Material Transportation Course.
AS/AA Degree plus 5 years of relevant experience
