Land Survey Crew Chief

Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Land Survey Crew Chief in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities

Take instructions and follows directions.

Lead survey crew in executing field surveys accurately and efficiently.

Supervise other survey crew members in proper surveying techniques and equipment operations.

Provide survey crew leadership in vehicle, instrument and equipment care and maintenance.

Develop thorough and accurate field notes, survey reports and calculations.

Proactively provide routine communications to supervisors and administrative support staff

Requirements

High School diploma

Valid driver's license and good driving record.

A minimum of 5 years survey experience with Survey Crew Chief experience.

Proficiency with field survey instruments including robotic total stations and GPS.

Route, boundary, and topographic survey experience.

Proficiency using laptop computers and data collection software.

Must be a self-starter and work with little guidance.

Must be able to work independently or as part of a survey crew as required.

Must be available to travel and work overtime occasionally.
