Balanced Machines, designs the next generation of balanced machines providing materials handling solutions for mining companies across Australia. Our machines are designed, fabricated, assembled, and tested at our state-of-art Henderson facility.
We now seek an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join this expanding team of professional Balanced Machines Engineers, you will enjoy a full project scope of work including design, execution, and final completion at our client’s sites throughout WA..

The Role
As a senior engineer for project delivery your key accountabilities will include;
Review and interpret scope of works, technical specifications;
Assist with tenders;
Design, specify and/or select components;
Complete 2D and/or 3D design related works
Participate in design and safety reviews;
Determine scope and/or design changes;
Prepare calculations, reports, datasheets, BOM, scope of works, construction and/or commissioning methodologies;
Provide procurement and manufacturing support;
Assist services and spares related works and attend site as required;
Assist with the commissioning of machines;
Train and mentor junior personnel;
Drive QA/QC best outcomes for the Company and Clients;
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering;
Minimum of seven (7) years experience in the mining industry (preference for balanced machines and materials handling experience);
Proficient in relevant engineering tools, software and CAD systems; and
Experience with direct liaison in a multidisciplinary team.
