The Role 


The Director of Operations will oversee all aspects of operations and manufacturing. This role will have additional involvement and support for the supply chain and financial reporting function critical for business planning. Key focus will be to ensure that our team is safe, while making quality products. The right candidate will possess strong team development and leadership skills, have a continuous improvement mindset with respect to all aspects of our operation and will be a great partner with supporting functions such as Quality and Transportation. 


This is a full-time hybrid role reporting to the office in Montebello.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop team members and plans that enable scale and create a prosperous environment for the PATH team.
  • Develop standard operating procedures.
  • Oversee all aspects Manufacturing, logistics, quality and demand.
  • P&L / Budget ownership – assist in and manage all operational components of the budget. Develop plans to attack opportunities, costs and help implement more robust planning processes. 
  • Plan, develop, and implement strategies for operational management to meet organizational performance. 
  • Drive Efficiency - Create systems and processes to successfully deliver against operational targets and KPIs. 
  • Establish and maintain appropriate processes and dashboards for measuring necessary aspects of business operations 
  • Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues, opportunities, development plans, and achievements 
  • Develop continuous process improvement strategies to drive operational efficiencies and cost savings. 
  • Execute the interface between demand and supply planning.  
  • Manage month-end responsibilities related to inventory. 
  • Assist with key financial planning and reporting (forecasting, tracking, reporting, and financial and operational analysis). 


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate level education.
  • 5-7 years’ experience in the beverage, food, or CPG industry.
  • Previous experience driving operational efficiencies in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience as the primary point of contact and manager of company suppliers, vendors. 
  • Ability to manage the organization in the efficient and timely production of product to meet customer demand and maintain satisfactory inventory levels. 
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential. 
  • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality results within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage multiple programs. 
  • Critical attention to detail and follow-up.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Highly analytical, organized, proactive, and motivated.
  • A positive, can-do attitude is essential along with initiative, superb planning skills, and the ability to anticipate and solve problems before they have the chance to have a negative business impact.

Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company. We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors. While the range above is for the expectations as laid out in the job description, the final offer amount will depend on the factors listed above.
