MUST HAVES
Method development for mass spectrometry and GC (Gas Chromatography)
Sample preparation and cleanup
General method development
Focus on method development instead of production
Education & Experience
Ph.D or Masters in Analytical Chemistry
NICE-TO-HAVES
Data Management and reporting
Team Management
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide project planning, resource planning, budget generation, and performance to budget
Demonstrate technical expertise by spearheading method and application development.
Candidates with active security clearance or the ability to obtain one are preferred
Develop work instructions, standard operating procedures, and technical documentation for applications.
Test planning and reporting
Uphold quality standards and analyze data generated by fellow chemists and engineers.
Troubleshoot and optimize methods for customer applications
Engage in collaborative efforts with engineers to enhance instrument design and functionality.
Prepare standards, dilutions, and samples.
