North American Crane & Rigging, LLC (NACR) is seeking a motivated and capable full-time Business Development Associate for our Central Florida commercial team. NACR is a fast-growing company with multiple locations and operations running the length of the East Coast, and with plans underway for further expansion. We provide specialized lifting, rigging, and transport services to an array of clients across numerous commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors. The Business Development Associate is a valued member of our regional business development team who will, under the direction of his/her assigned Account Manager, identify, solicit, and qualify prospective clients. This is an outside sales role requiring frequent travel in the covered territory. In addition to performing outside sales calls and preparing qualified opportunities for the Account Manager, the Business Development Associate will also assist with marketing and / or special projects on an as needed basis.


The ideal candidate for this role will be a reliable, quick learning, and easily adaptable self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a growth mindset.


Responsibilities:


  • Seek out new construction and industrial projects within the defined territory and make contact with prospective users of crane rental, rigging, and hauling services. 
  • Visit prospective client sites to competently present NACR's capabilities and understand their needs.
  • Professionally represent NACR's corporate values: Safety, Relationships, and Performance. 
  • Respond to prospective client needs in an effective and timely manner.
  • Proactively research, pursue, and follow-up on project opportunities to establish new business.
  • Develop and present an expert understanding of NACR's capabilities, product functionality, product applications, and customer requirements. 
  • Consistently establish prospective client contact to locate qualified opportunities.
  • Prepare, maintain, and deliver leads, activity reports, and prospective client files to the assigned Account Manager.
  • Meet and be responsible for revenue and lead generation targets. 



Experience and Education:


  • High school diploma or higher education 
  • Valid driver license and reliable vehicle transportation
  • Prior sales experience is a plus but not required (training to be provided)
  • Experience in the construction or equipment rental / sales / service preferred

·       Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, external partners, vendors, and customers.

·       Proficiency in Windows / Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

·       Ability to conduct research and present data in a succinct and well-written / well-spoken manner.

·       Strong organizational skills.

·       Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills.

·       Attention to detail is expected.

·       Ability to act with discretion when handling confidential and privileged information.

  • Willingness to travel frequently (daily) within Central Florida and occasionally beyond.
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. frequently.



Compensation:


NACR offers competitive salary and benefits commensurate with qualifications and experience. Individual health insurance premium is paid 100% by the Company (no employee contribution)! As with any fast-growing company, opportunities for advancement will be available.
