Now Hiring an Air & Electric Wirer for a Manufacturing Company in Kent OH

The Air and Electric worker is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing of liquid tank trailers by installing hydraulics and electrical wiring.

Job Duties:

• Install wiring and hydraulics to units in production.
• Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors.
• Examine work pieces for defects and measure with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance.
• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
• Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout and assembly.
• Mark or tag material with proper job number, piece marks, and other identifying marks as required.
• Position and secure work pieces using hoists, cranes, wire, and banding machines or hand tools.
• Clean or degrease parts using wire brushes, portable grinders, or chemical baths.
• Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• Any other duties requested by a supervisor.
  
  

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring and installation.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints with accuracy.
• Ability to read and understand precision measuring instruments.
• Willingness to work overtime on weekends as required.
  
  

This job requires lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly and working at heights up to 15 feet.

Compensation: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour (Weekly Pay)

Schedule: Monday – Thursday (7:00am - 5:00pm) OT Friday as Needed
