Ad Ops Systems Associate

We are looking for an experienced Ad Operations Systems Associate to manage the office system’s operations (including onsite IT) and the technical aspects of ad campaigns. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ad operations, possess an analytical mindset, and exhibit a strong proficiency in utilizing various ad tech platforms to ensure seamless delivery and performance of our clients’ campaigns.

Role Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Ad Ops, Finance, Media, and Account teams, to understand the campaign objectives, technical requirements, and performance metrics.
  • Lead system set-up of campaign elements within agency media management portal (e.g. Advantage) to ensure proper setup aligns with company dashboard, e.g. MTC integration and Datorama.
  • Ensure all aspects of campaign planning and setup, management, and creative implementation are upheld with efficient processes.
  • Provide technical support (including various onsite IT issues) to internal teams and/or clients, addressing inquiries related to troubleshooting.
  • Traffic and QC client creative assets
  • Traffic instruction management
  • (e.g.) DCM
    • Tracking Tags
    • Digital Invoice approval
    • Pulling Reports
  • Manage and execute QA processes to verify the accuracy of ad creative and tracking setups including proper naming conventions.
  • Maintain ad delivery and performance across multiple ad-serving platforms and networks, proactively identifying and resolving any technical issues, and proper pacing and deliveries according to the client’s campaign goals.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot ad tags, pixels, and other tracking mechanisms to ensure accurate data collection and attribution.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners to integrate their technologies into our media operations (including but not limited to Advantage, Asana, Slack, Yealink, etc.).
    • Includes training and troubleshooting/tech support.
  • Stay current with system/platform’s capabilities, emerging technologies, and best practices in office operations and implement relevant changes throughout the agency.
    • Includes researching issues and formulating actionable solutions based on findings.
  • Participate in the development and documentation of ad operations processes and guidelines.
  • Be resourceful when faced with new systems/platforms or constraints by asking clarifying questions, and providing workaround solutions, as necessary.
  • Communicate with Ad Ops managers and supervisors on balancing and prioritizing requests based on urgency and complexity.
  • Organize metrics to pinpoint process-related inefficiencies, measure accuracy, and celebrate the Ad Ops team’s success rates.

Qualifications:

  • 1 – 2 years marketing and advertising or related experience.
  • Media planning and/or experience with media analytics is a plus.
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, who takes initiative and has a positive demeanor, is an excellent collaborator and communicator.
  • Strong team player with a high level of attention to detail, able to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Must be able to communicate in an effective, concise, persuasive, articulate, and confident manner.
  • Teamwork – Must show an ability to understand the media strategy and marketing process and be able to work efficiently and effectively with partners as directed by senior team members.
  • College Degree Required – Emphasis in Marketing and/or Media Strategy is a plus.
  • Experience working with Media Ocean is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation Range: $50K - $60K a year Depending on Experience

This is the pay range Bloom Ads reasonably expects it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the level of experience, relevant skills, professional certifications, market pay, and demand for the role. Bloom Ads reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
