ABOUT THE ROLE


We have an opportunity for a Senior/Associate level Planning Consultant to join our Edinburgh office and help manage a growing caseload and client requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with our GB Planning Director in running the office and managing a full range of projects across Great Britain. The successful candidate will also be expected to be involved in business development and further growth of Gravis Planning in the GB market, providing an exciting opportunity for career progression and professional development.


ABOUT YOU


Applicants should have an RTPI accredited degree / postgraduate qualification in Town Planning and at least 10 years of postgraduate professional experience, meaning that they are at or close to being Associate level. We are looking for a commercially minded person that has the ambition to develop as a project manager, working towards Director level within 5 years. The majority of the Edinburgh office work will be in Scotland and as such, extensive professional experience of the Scottish planning system is essential. Applicants must possess a driving license and have access to a car to allow them to carry out their duties in the position.


The following core skills are also required:

•          Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

•          Excellent planning and organisational skills

•          Excellent problem-solving and negotiation skills

•          Ability to manage a varied workload and meet strict deadlines
