Some of the core responsibilities of DevOps Engineer include –
• Partner with peer technology organizations to harness and leverage solutions and innovations in the areas of DevOps/Cloud Engineering (like Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift) and DevOps (Ansible, etc.,) Skill Set Proficiency in DevOps/Agile tools like Ansible, JIRA Boards, TeamCity, Jenkins, GIT-HUB and Azure DevOps Pipelines
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Setting up tools and required infrastructure
• Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project. • Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Incidence management and root cause analysis
• Sound knowledge of technologies like Terraform, Automation Scripts, Cron jobs etc.
Must have worked with goals of putting infra as code like setting up new environments with code. Education and Experience :
• You are a B.E / B.Tech graduate Minimum with 4 years and relevant experience of 2 to 3 years on GCP and Azure Devops
• You work to provide hands-on technical expertise to design, deploy, secure, and optimize Cloud services.
• Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
• Excellent troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
• Hands-on experience with public cloud platform such as GCP
• Solid understanding of multi-stage CI/CD pipeline
• Infrastructure as Code and automation using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation Deployment Manager in GCP and Python
