Position Summary:
We are looking for a global market support with a good knowledge on Operations and Regulatory, to join a team with presence across the APAC region. Products includes FIC and Equity.
The candidate will work closely with APAC stakeholders and global team in order to maintain system stability. The candidate would in charge of both technical and functional supports. Also small projects rollouts example new product rollout or new reporting in APAC.
The perimeter includes all Operations and Regulatory topic covering APAC. From Middle Offices, Operations on the trade booking and STP. Various Back Office Operations including fixing, confirmation, SSI, settlement, regulatory reporting etc. From Finance sometimes questions on missing accounting entries or accounting schema setup.
Main Responsibilities:
Analyzing and documenting business processes and requirements related to operations and regulatory reporting.
Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations for operation systems and regulatory reporting.
Identifying and documenting system and process improvements to enhance operations efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conducting gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired operations and regulatory reporting processes.
Developing and maintaining business requirements documentation, including functional specifications and user stories for system enhancements.
Collaborating with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and elaborate IT opinion for NPNA ( New Products New Activities ) whenever it’s required.
Staying updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
These responsibilities and duties are crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of operations and regulatory reporting within a business.
Technical Skills:
She/He is expected to take the leadership on most of the topics, suggest and implement the most adapted solutions to support Operations. Proactivity is key. This involves a proper daily assessment of priorities and always seeking a good balance between sustainability, maintainability and effectiveness.
High level of autonomy and taking decisions
Not afraid to contact other people in APAC or Europe
Degree educated – computer science, engineering.
Problem solver and proactive
Working knowledge in SQL and scripting
Able to work with time pressure and minimum supervision.
Required Skills:
5-7 years in a similar support & business analyst position
Experience in communicating with Operations and Finance to analyze user request and requirements.
Good understanding of Fixed Income and FX cash and derivative products
Experienced with Finastra Summit/Calypso/Murex is highly desirable.
