Wolf Theiss, an international law firm with branches across 13 capital cities in Central and Southern Europe, is hiring for the following positions in our Sofia office: Associate & Senior Associate, Competition and Compliance.
An exciting opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join the integrated competition & compliance team at a top tier international law firm as part of the group's continued growth. The practice covers all areas of competition and compliance law including EU and Bulgarian law aspects of merger control, foreign investment, cartel, competition advisory work, GDPR, and other areas of corporate compliance.
You will be perfect for these roles if you are already working in competition or GDPR matters ideally in a leading top tier Bulgarian, UK or international law firm or large in-house competition/regulatory team. The ideal candidates will have a range of relevant experience such as merger control, distribution & sales agency arrangements, cartels, foreign investment, market access, GDPR compliance, breaches, and investigations. Your job will involve working with and having direct professional relationships with the largest international and national clients investing in Bulgaria and CEE across a range of industries. You will team up with market leaders and experts on a daily basis, while also counting on the support of experienced colleagues across the firm.
You will have excellent legal and commercial analytical skills, an ability to think critically and independently, fluent English language, flexibility, and a keen interest in providing advice and service of the highest quality. We also encourage you, as a future leader, to bring creativity, ideas, and energy.
