About You

Ideally you'll bring:

  • 4 years of overall work experience in learning and development with a proven success in eLearning development.
  • Experience with Articulate Rise required.
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline and Canva is a plus.
  • Advanced writing skills with the ability to synthesize complex content to an eighth grade reading level.
  • Excellent communication skills and comfort presenting or facilitating in group settings.
  • Organization and a sense of urgency when needed, with a deep commitment to accountability and the ability to exhibit leadership within your peer group.
  • A proactive approach to your work. You love finding and filling gaps!
  • Strength in prioritization and time management, with a track record of focus on the most important work.

About The Job

The Etsy Managed Services (EMS) Enablement Training team prepares agents at Etsy to efficiently provide excellent customer experiences and strong, reliable enforcement of our policies through learner-centered training materials with a focus on continuous skills development.

We are looking for a proactive and passionate content creator with experience crafting and maintaining educational resources in customer support organizations.

As a Training Senior Specialist you will seek to simplify the complex through instructional design. You’ll be responsible for creating eLearning that ensures that critical workflows are distilled to agents in a way that helps them understand and succeed. Your success will be measured by resource accuracy and efficiency and will also be tied to overall success metrics. Do you enjoy building training that help others work to their full potential? If so, this could be the ideal role for you.

About The Role

In this role you will:

  • Effectively navigate and synthesize complex content, and then leverage instructional design to create training and templates.
  • Act as a consultative partner by making recommendations backed by data and/or external research on the right methods and modalities of training.
  • Follow established processes to address a business need through the learning objectives of the material; skillfully flexes the process when needed.
  • Collaborate with partner teams to identify training and content needs to enable agent success and drive key metrics.
  • Proactively address areas of opportunity within our training through data and insights received from a robust feedback system.
  • Deliver launches on time and with quality, acting as a guide for stakeholders along the process. Clearly communicates project goals and timelines and holds others accountable.
