HAL is actively seeking a seasoned Senior Water/Environmental Engineer with a minimum of 7 years of experience in water systems and design. Join us in our commitment to excellence and innovation in water resources engineering.
Responsibilities:
Manage and design water system infrastructure projects, including pump stations, well houses, pipelines, and drinking water storage facilities.
Work independently and collaboratively to provide design assistance and mentorship within the team.
Demonstrate strong organization and communication skills while overseeing project execution.
Education:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Skills/Qualifications:
Apply engineering principles to enhance municipal projects and improve the public's standard of living.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients and regulating agencies.
Utilize computer programs such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS for project planning and design.
Experience with hydraulic models like AutoCAD Storm and Sanitary Analysis, SWMM, EPANET, and related software.
Analyze engineering data and prepare design calculations.
Prepare specifications and assist with bid documents for municipal projects.
Excellent technical and verbal communication skills.
Licensure:
Utah Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain one.
Other credentials are also considered.
