Senior Content Creator

As a Sr. Content Creator, you’re a thinker and a maker. You work as a key player on an agile team, conceptualizing, creating, and producing engaging content that resonates, commentates, and participates in real-time culture and trends. You’re a multidisciplinary creative obsessed with hands-on content creation and you’re always curious to learn more about your craft. You understand production, you know how to convey ideas clearly, you’re strategic, and you’re collaborative with other creatives, strategists, and client partners. You’re a culture vulture who compulsively hones their taste and raises the bar for creative standards. We’d like to see 5 yrs experience in art, design, photography, journalism, or videography in an agency setting.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Autonomously ideate and execute the creation of platform-native social content that's on strategy and responsive to trends and consumer-focused ideation.
• Work independently and collaboratively with other creatives, content creators, influencers, and production partners in all phases of work.
• Work cross-functionally with account management, project management, and strategy.
• Work within budget parameters while being resourceful to always find solutions.
• Edit and post-produce video content using Adobe Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro and/or After Effects.
• Ability to complete in-app editing across platforms, including TikTok, CapCut, and beyond.
• Design and create graphics, videos, GIFs, animations, and other multimedia elements that effectively communicate brand messages.
• Work simultaneously on multiple clients' programs within tight deadlines, following projects through from start to finish.
• Write compelling and concise social copy that captures attention, communicates key messages, and encourages user interaction.
• Stay current with social media trends, platform algorithm changes, and industry best practices to ensure content remains relevant and optimized for maximum reach and engagement.
• Write creator briefs, give direction and collaborate with influencers, photographers, videographers, designers and other content creators as necessary to enhance the creative process.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas for campaigns and platform ideas.

What You Need to be Successful

• You’re a thinker and a maker.
• Proven professional experience as a Social Media Content Creator, ideally within an ad, marketing, or creative environment, with a portfolio showcasing diverse content formats and styles.
• Strong multidisciplinary creative portfolio demonstrating proficiency in content creation, video production, photography, graphic design, and copywriting.
• Strong understanding of various social media platforms, their unique audiences, and content requirements.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Lightroom, as well as video editing software.
• You’re proactive and adaptive

Location: LA, hybrid (3 days in office, T, W, TH)

Salary range: 60-75K

The starting salary will match the skills and experience in the role assessed during the interview process.
