As a Research & Insights Associate you will play a key role in providing research expertise and data-backed perspectives throughout the company. In this position, you will leverage your market research and data analytics skills to translate business questions into primary research projects, deliver actionable insights and thought leadership materials and support ongoing data needs across the organization.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Support research that aligns with advertiser and agency customer requests.
  • Support the planning, design, execution, analysis, and reporting of primary and secondary research initiatives worldwide, delivering actionable insights that position our company as leader in the industry
  • Apply a variety of research methodologies and techniques, including online surveys, in-depth interviews, neuroscience research, voice of the customer, desk research and more
  • Gather and manipulate proprietary platform data using best-in-class tools and methodologies
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and third-party research vendors to ensure company-wide research needs are met
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineering and other business partners to explore new sources of data, improve operational efficiency, and increase scalability of insights.
  • Manage research projects end-to-end, including survey design, analysis of results, report development and presentation of findings to internal and external stakeholders
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to produce high quality deliverables, assist in the development of communication strategies and support the creation of marketing campaigns that will promote key research findings
  • Employ online research tools, including Momentive, Qualtrics and eMarketer


You should apply if you have most of this experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years experience with primary research, both qualitative and quantitative
  • Robust understanding of research methods and best practices with the ability to provide effective solutions
  • Knowledge of online survey tools such as Momentive (fka, SurveyMonkey) and Qualtrics
  • Experience working with primary research vendors (e.g., Forrester, GfK, Ipsos, YouGov)
  • Experience working with brand study vendors such as Kantar Milward Brown, Nielsen, Dynata, etc.
  • Excellent storyteller with the ability to transform quantitative data into engaging stories with actionable insights
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a dispersed team environment
  • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides strongly preferred
  • Some experience with data analytics desirable
  • Knowledge of SQL, Looker, Snowflake, Databricks, R, Python, Hue, Power BI or Tableau a plus


New York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $46,200 - $79,200. Actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
