Exciting opportunity to participate in a national research study that compares two medications for the treatment of opioid use disorder as well as psychosocial interventions. All training will be provided. Requires a BA or BS in social or physical sciences. Must have knowledge of research methods, good interpersonal skills, and be very detail oriented. Responsible for the ongoing implementation of research protocol. The Research Assistant is responsible for the recruitment and tracking of participants, the collection and maintenance of data for the protocol, and following protocol and IRB guidelines for the ethical treatment of study participants.
SALARY RANGE
$26 - $34 / per hour DOE

CATEGORIES OF DUTIES
Recruits and tracks research study participants.
Conducts interviews with study participants in a timely and ethical manner
Maintains all study records and updates research study binder.
Maintains good working relationships and contact with protocol team members.
5, Maintains clean data sets and submits data on a regular basis to the designated data collection center.
Immediately reports Serious Adverse Events to the appropriate parties as they occur for research study participants.
Updates participant tracking logs on a regular basis.
Prepares for regular visits from Quality Assurance monitors and other regulatory monitors.
Attends protocol trainings, specific measurement trainings, research-oriented trainings, and necessary protocol-related meetings; and
Strictly adheres to the local IRB’s standards for the ethical treatment of human subjects in a research experiment.
Other duties as assigned by Director and/or Administrator.
Education/Training/Experience
Bachelors Degree or Master’s in a social science, with a basic knowledge of research methods. Prior research experience and interviewing experience preferred. Prior data entry and word processing experience.
