Position Overview: The Project Manager leverages Vibrant's project methodology and provides leadership that promotes and supports the development, implementation, and completion of mediumto large-size projects and the execution of recurring business processes. These projects and processes typically involve multiple business units and carry a degree of risk with high visibility.

What You Will Do

  • Manage all aspects of assigned projects, including timeline, resource management, risk management, deliverables, quality, and change control.
  • Identify impacted stakeholders, secure proper resources to include in the project team, and conduct project kickoff.
  • Facilitate discovery meetings to gather business rules and requirements, ensuring requirements are accurate and complete.
  • Create a requirements analysis plan to identify various types of requirements.
  • Collaborate with business units to further define conceptual user requirements into well-defined business rules and requirements.
  • Follow Vibrant's Change Management process by updating requirement documentation, gathering approval from Subject Matter Experts, and reviewing with the Project Team.
  • Involve appropriate parties in decision-making and resolution of issues while maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Identify roadblocks, determine a plan for resolution, and escalate when appropriate.
  • Provides weekly status project updates to the project team and leadership.
  • Provide direction while maintaining the project team accountable to tasks and timeline.
  • Maintain active working relationships with assigned vendors, participating in available user groups, and remaining aware of vendor roadmaps.
  • Manage department ticketing queue to maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA).?

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred
  • Minimum five years' experience managing projects (including project plans, timelines, and budgets), providing insights and recommendations, and identifying impacts on business units
  • Knowledge of an agile framework (i.e., Scrum, Kanban) or understanding of software development life cycle
  • Proficiency with project management tools
  • Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently
  • Ability to analyze complex business data to communicate complex technical analysis to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Willing to take initiative and drive issues to resolution
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams, build strong teams, and interact with all organizational levels

  • VP Program and Project Management

Environmental and Physical Activity Requirements: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The daily responsibilities of this position constantly require effective talking, hearing, walking, finger dexterity, reaching, stooping, and grasping functions. The position also often requires reaching and lifting (up to 25 pounds). Frequent sitting, standing, and repetitive motion activities are also required. Must be able to read print and computer-based materials and to do so with consistent accuracy. Most of these functions require light physical exertion and are conducted indoors at controlled degrees of temperature.
