Plant Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Plant Manager or an employee ready to step into a Plant Manager role for a leadership position in a paper pulp manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production facility and a team. They should be able to analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes. The candidate will also have an ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee plant operations such as budget, production schedule, stock and ensuring optimal performance and productivity.
• Oversee P&L, sales, and budgeting processes.
• Maintain and improve operational efficiencies and safety standards.
• Analyze production costs and inventory to establish areas for improvements
• Ensure adherence to rules and workplace policies
• Examine processes and design plans to effectively use available resources
• Coordinate, motivate, and build a team, fostering a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Holds an engineering degree or has a strong mechanical background.
• Possesses 10 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing setting.
• Experience in high-volume industrial packaging is highly desirable.
• Demonstrates a thorough understanding of P&L, sales, and budget management.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.
• Experience in plant management and manufacturing operations Strong communication, management and supervisory skills
