SUMMARY
As a Perception Test Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop, maintain, and update test standards for autonomous and automation products utilizing latest perception technology’s in the industry. You will also execute testing to demonstrate quality of these products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Daily operation of ag vehicles for testing of perception sensory system in various agronomic applications.
  • Evaluate test requirements, based on specifications, standard procedures, and internal/external requirements. Develop test plans and procedures.
  • Execute and document tests.
  • Prepare reports of testing data, evaluate, and provide recommendations based on findings. Lead or contribute input for improvements.
  • Train team members on utilization of test equipment and procedures.
  • Learning, understanding, continuously improving, and promoting the quality management system in accordance with ISO standards.
  • Management of test site, including shipping and recieving of equipment, hardware installation and removal, test field re-conditioning and vehicle maintenance.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2 year technical degree preferred, or equivalent experience with ag machinery and/or ag operations.
  • Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.
  • Familiarity with vehicle sensors such as camera, radar, lidar, and ultrasonics preferred.
  • Team player who is self-motivated and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
  • Demonstrates support for company culture in their daily actions.
  • Proficiency with a computer, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
