Responsibilities

• Evaluate creditworthiness by processing loan applications and documentation within defined parameters.
• Calculate ratios and metrics to set up debt repayment plans.
• Interview applicants to assess financial eligibility and feasibility of loan issuance.
• Review loan files daily to identify missing documents and expedite processing.
• Recommend suitable loan products that align with customer needs and organizational guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with clients to request and provide necessary information.
• Exercise professional judgment to assess risk and ensure responsible lending practices.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to lending guidelines.
  
  

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• 3 years of experience in the consumer loan industry.
• Current registration under the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry.
• Strong attention to detail with proficiency in banking applications and software.
• Ability to thrive in a goal-oriented environment.
• Track record of customer satisfaction and sales competency.
• Deep knowledge of direct and indirect lending products and practices.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities.
• Experience with FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, or Jumbo loans required; Encompass experience preferred.
