You will…
- Lead Annual Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasting: Oversee the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasting efforts, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.
- Financial & Operational Reporting: Develop and present monthly financial reporting packages, quarterly board materials, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the executive leadership team and Board of Directors.
- Department Collaboration: Partner with department heads to understand and address their financial requirements, providing insights and support to drive financial performance.
- Sales and Marketing Partnership: Collaborate with sales and marketing leadership to analyze the sales pipeline, historical win rates, and customer pricing to ensure data-driven decision-making.
- Cash Management: Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, driving optimal cash management and funding strategies.
- KPI Dashboard Improvement: Lead the enhancement of KPI dashboards in Mosaic, ensuring they effectively support leaders across the organization in monitoring their performance metrics.
- Workflow Ownership: Take full ownership of your workflows, identifying and removing any obstacles that may hinder progress. We believe in empowering our team members to drive success.
- Strategic Finance Processes: Build out other strategic finance processes and lead ambitious projects that shape the future of the business.
- Education: Bachelors in finance, accounting or similar
- Relevant experience: 4-7 years of relevant experience; ideally experience at high-growth organizations, investment banks, or consulting firms
- Financial Modeling Expertise: Be an expert in developing and maintaining financial models in Excel / Google Sheets, and understand GAAP financial statements. Prior experience in implementation and/or management of a budgeting and planning software is a plus
- Data Analysis Expertise: Be an expert in analyzing data and creating charts, in either Excel, Google Sheets, or another data analysis tool.
- Strategic Thinking: Proactively perform strategic analysis and make data-driven recommendations that shape the future of the business.
- Continuous Learning and Curiosity: Demonstrate genuine curiosity with a strong desire to continuously learn and help others grow.
- Collaborative Communication: Possess a collaborative style and the ability to communicate with executives across the organization.
- Self-Starter and Agility: Demonstrate enthusiasm, agility, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. Commit to building and automating financial operations.
