By joining our rapidly growing Business Transformation practice you will serve as a trusted partner to our clients. You’ll bring your first-hand experience, unique perspectives, and functional knowledge to deliver tailored integrated solutions that help our clients solve today's challenges and set the foundation for future success. As a Director at CrossCountry Consulting you will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, business development, leading teams and developing junior team members, as well as serving as a member of CrossCountry’s leadership team.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a key leader in our Business Transformation practice, overseeing and steering strategic initiatives within operations and finance functions
  • Leverage knowledge of process and technology capabilities, internal control design, change management, and program/project management to guide organizations in designing and executive effective change initiatives
  • Support various Business Transformation projects including (but not limited to): system strategy and selection, process or finance improvement and optimization, operations performance improvement, change management, program or project management, data analytics, and/or business analysis
  • Collaborate with organizations to identify, assess, and analyze their unique business challenges, offering solutions to enhance their finance and accounting operating models
  • Oversee implementation of compliance programs that fulfill regulatory requirements and provide long-term value
  • Evaluate clients' existing close documentation, collaborate with the close team, articulate the future state process, and provide guidance on optimal practices for close management
  • Contribute expertise and best practices in various business processes such as Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close, etc.
  • Oversee teams and individuals, monitor and guide performance in alignment with objectives, and promptly address issues, risks, and conflicts as they arise
  • Provide senior account and project-level leadership that ensures exceptional delivery quality, exceeds client expectations, nurtures client relationships, and creates expansion opportunities
  • Deliver high-quality consulting services by taking personal ownership of client engagements, ensuring that deliverables are practical and impactful
  • Drive the strategic direction of the practice by actively monitoring industry trends, identifying emerging opportunities, and creating new services and solutions that meet market needs
  • Actively contribute to talent acquisition and retention efforts, participating in attracting, interviewing, and hiring top talent who embody our core values
  • Lead business development efforts and market a full range of services to prospective clients including using existing relationships to generate new opportunities

What You'll Bring:

  • 10 years of relevant experience working within professional services advising commercial companies in one or more of the following areas: financial reporting, operational accounting, implementing new accounting policy, transactions, process optimization, finance transformation, change management, operations and performance improvement, system implementation, and/or project management
  • Experience mentoring and developing junior team members and helping project teams resolve complex and multi-faceted issues
  • Prior experience using one or more of the following tools: Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, and/or SQL

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 20% - 30% (travel varies based on client preferences)
  • Willingness to be present on client site or in office 3 days a week, with 2 days a week remote (hybrid office environment)
