Job Description
Job Title: Clinical Informatics Specialist I
The primary responsibility of the Clinical Informatics Specialist I will be to assist with on-boarding & supporting physicians, maintain physician on boarding tools, and participate in physician on boarding and facility outreach. The Physician Clinical Informatics Specialist will work closely with all Telespecialists lines of business, facility staff, and potential clients.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
Physician Support:
Collaborates with the Managing Partner and Integration Division leadership to assist with physician support. Including but not limited to SharePoint, Planner, TODO, Dashlane, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, TeleSpecialists Helpdesk, Telecare Support Chats, SMS, and client IT teams.
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Previous physician onboarding/education experience preferred. Health system or hospital administration experience, or nursing background is a plus. Previous experience in a healthcare environment preferred, ideally from the field of telemedicine. Especially with Healthcare IT, EMRs, and Video platforms. Knowledge of CRM and database use.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds.

Physician Support:

- Assists physicians with troubleshooting issues related to EMR, Video, VPN, and any physician access-related issues.
- Assists with the communication of updates and downtime of client EMR, VPN, or video systems.
- Coordinates with Help Desk and Rapid Response Center (RRC) to resolve urgent physician support and access issues.
- Collaborates with the Managing Partner, Integration Division leadership to onboard and support new and current physicians with their facility on boarding needs.
- Assists physicians directly with newly credentialed facility on boarding in accordance with our divisional KPI’s.
- Assists with logistical support for CI and assigned physicians for cart request, facility emails, and access follow ups.
- Participates in Clinical Informatics (CI) team meetings as required.
- Participates in CI divisional planning
- Collaborates in CI process improvement planning
