Assistant Director of Athletic Communication

Concordia University Chicago (CUC) invites applications for the Assistant Director of Athletic Communication.

This position reports directly to the Director of Athletic Communication and is located in River Forest, IL.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Candidates must support and be committed to the mission and identity of Concordia University Chicago, a university of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS).
• Oversee all writing and editing for the athletics department publications, including but not limited to post-game recaps, feature stories, and staff and athlete bios
• Coordinate game production and operations
• Assist with oversight of game workers and the Graduate Assistant
• Maintain CUC Athletics social media accounts and website

Minimum Experience Required: 2 years of experience in collegiate athletics in a similar role.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related discipline.
