Warehouse Manager
We are currently working with an innovative, family-run SME who are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team based in Brooksman Park. The Warehouse Management role require taking overall responsibility for the receipt, storage, assembly, and distribution of product. With ambitious growth plans for the next 3 years, and large market potential, you will be able to directly contribute towards to the success of the future of the business.

- Manage logistics of receiving, warehousing, and dispatch operations
- Communicate with clients, vendors, suppliers, and customers
- Manage warehouse staff, building ‘team' culture, train employees, and monitor production performance
- Meet regularly with warehouse operatives to assess, analyse, and develop actionable plans for loss prevention and to improve productivity
- Control inventory levels by physical stock counts and reconcile stock system
- Perform general maintenance of the machinery & tools used in the warehouse
- Enforce health standards, safety, and security procedures
- Enforce company rules and regulations
- Inspect & approve of goods or equipment received & dispatched
- Update and maintain computer systems, processes, and stock inventory
- Use real-time data to increase accuracy and lower labour costs
- Acquire knowledge of product to confidently assembly systems
- Competent in handling goods with a forklift
- Oversee good housekeeping and cleanliness
- Manage approval of invoices against Purchase Orders
- Ensure expenditure is accounted for
- Willing to pick & pack when needed
- Report on relevant KPIs for the role
- Hold Performance Development Reviews with the warehouse team
- Maintain a ‘world class' customer service standards
- Experience working in a similar role, preferably within construction
- Successful experience in managing & leading a team
- Proven track record of creating a team environment
- A problem-solver / solution thinker
- Good IT skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
- Good numerical & commercial awareness
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Good foundation skills of Health & Safety within a Warehouse
- Understanding of Risk & Method Statements and COSHH
- Forklift Counterbalance License
- Full UK Driving License
- Salary of £32,000-£38,000 per annum (negotiable depending on experience)

- Hours: 06:30am to 15:30pm, Mon to Fri
