The Role

An exciting opportunity to join British Airways as an Inclusion & Diversity Manager on a 12 month FTC has arisen!

As we’re on a journey to become a Better BA, this is the perfect time to embed our Inclusion and Diversity plans, following the launch of our corporate I&D strategy #InclusionStartswithI last year.

You will create meaningful change by leading on the implementation of our I&D vision and, improving diversity in Aviation, from Pilots and Cabin Crew to Engineers; we’re looking forward to the opportunities ahead of us.

What You’ll Do

  • Advance I&D at British Airways by delivering our vision and accelerating our transformation in this space.
  • Provide clarity on the importance of our I&D strategy and how the business plans to transform our representation and improve Inclusion.
  • Drive accountability across the business, to integrate all aspects of I&D into the colleague lifecycle, wellbeing, recruitment, L&D, talent, policy, property and accessibility.
  • Project manage I&D initiatives across demographics and levers, from scoping through to evaluation of impact
  • Leverage and evaluate data using Tableau to identify focus areas across the business.
  • Manage I&D governance processes.

What You’ll Bring To British Airways

  • Passion for Inclusion & Diversity and curious to develop and improve.
  • Ability to coach & influence stakeholders to develop behavioural change & conscious Inclusion.
  • Solution focused; problem solving and action orientated
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations to different stakeholders
  • Strong project management skills Digital mindset and able to utilise innovative ways of working to achieve revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to engage and influence varied audiences, including presentations.
  • Ability to evaluate data and inform appropriate interventions.

Your Experience

  • Qualification and/or experience in a relevant field.
  • Coaching experience is essential.
  • Solid understanding of relevant UK legislation is crucial.
  • Global I&D knowledge and experience of the HR lifecycle is desirable.
