Glencore Copper is seeking a HR Coordinator to support the growth and development of our Copper Portfolio to be based at our Maidenhead office in England.

The role:

We are looking for a dynamic Coordinator to support human resources operations for the Copper Industrial Assets entity in Maidenhead, England. The ideal candidate possesses a solid ethical framework and understanding of confidentiality, and has demonstrated integrity, accountability, and a strong work ethic in prior work experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assists during the pre- and post-hiring process:
    • Manages and maintains job postings.
    • Ensures timely response to questions from hiring managers, applicants, and new hires.
    • Coordinates scheduling of phone screens, interviews, and new hire orientation.
    • Supports job offer preparations.
  • Assists in the orientation and onboarding process:
    • Support with new employee orientation.
    • Assists with the creation of materials for employee onboarding.
    • Assists in administering and updating employee benefits.
    • Support with ad hoc documentation for employees such as tenancy references.
  • Provide general support for HR:
    • Maintains employee records and conducts ongoing audits.
    • Assists in compiling information to ensure agency compliancy.
    • Assists in benefits administration and maintenance.
    • Assist in payroll administration as backup.
    • Support with the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and activities.
Additional responsibilities:

  • Facilitates travel arrangements including flight schedules, visa requirements, accommodation and transfer bookings for the functional leads and visitors as required.
  • Supports Office and Facility Management on ad hoc tasks.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • 5 years of experience working in a similar fast-paced environment.
  • Human Resources qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors would be preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and project management skills.
