Key Responsibilities:
Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances. Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.
Performance Tuning: Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database performance. Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.
Backup and Recovery: Develop, implement, and test backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
Security: Implement and manage database security measures, including user permissions, roles, and data encryption.
Data Integrity: Ensure data consistency and integrity through regular database maintenance, including indexing, updates, and integrity checks.
Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures for SQL Server databases.
Support: Provide support for SQL Server related issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures
