Position Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Intern to join the CloudBlitz team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about education technology, social media, and content creation, with a keen eye for aesthetics. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to CloudBlitz’s vibrant online presence.

Key Responsibilities:


Content Creation:


Create engaging content for CloudBlitz's Instagram, including reels, posts, and stories.

Develop visually appealing content for other social media platforms such as Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

Be comfortable and confident in front of the camera to produce authentic and engaging content.

Utilize tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Canva to design and edit content.


Community Engagement:


Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.

Foster a positive and interactive environment on all social media platforms.


Trend Monitoring:


Monitor social media trends and identify opportunities to enhance CloudBlitz’s social media presence.

Stay updated with the latest trends in social media, education technology, and digital marketing.


Social Media Management:


Assist in maintaining and managing CloudBlitz’s social media channels, including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and LinkedIn.


Ensure consistency in brand voice and aesthetic across all platforms.

Marketing Support:


Contribute to marketing and social media initiatives, including campaign planning and execution.

Support the marketing team with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.


Continuous Improvement:


Adapt and evolve the intern's role based on performance and the opportunities available within the organization.

Demonstrate creativity, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail in all tasks.


Qualifications:


  • Any graduate from any field or stream is preferable.
  •  Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or other editing software.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their functionalities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creativity and an eye for aesthetics, especially in education technology-related content.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for education technology and digital marketing.


One Time Activities:

  1. Research and Documentation: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and compile findings into actionable reports.
  2. Content Calendar Creation: Develop a content calendar outlining weekly themes, posts, and campaigns aligned with organizational goals.
  3. Training and Familiarization: Familiarize oneself with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics).

Daily Activities:

  1. Content Creation: Generate engaging text, image, and video content tailored for each platform.
  2. Community Engagement: Respond promptly to comments, messages, and mentions across social media channels.
  3. Monitoring Trends: Stay updated with industry news and social media trends to leverage opportunities.
  4. Analytics Review: Monitor daily performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement) and adjust strategies as needed.
  5. Participate in Team Meetings and Brainstorming Sessions: Actively contribute creative ideas and provide feedback during team meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Weekly Activities:

  1. Campaign Execution: Execute planned social media campaigns, monitor progress, and optimize based on performance.
  2. Content Scheduling: Schedule posts using social media management tools, ensuring consistent and timely publishing.
  3. Performance Analysis: Analyze weekly analytics reports to track campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Cross-promotion Initiatives: Collaborate with other departments for cross-promotion opportunities and content sharing.

Monthly Activities:

  1. Strategy Review: Review monthly analytics to assess overall social media performance against KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  2. Content Strategy Refinement: Refine content strategy based on audience feedback and performance insights.
  3. Report Preparation: Prepare comprehensive monthly reports highlighting key achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
  4. Campaign Planning: Collaborate with the team to plan upcoming campaigns and content themes for the following month.
