Yara India has continuously strengthened its footprint in Western and Southern India by providing Crop nutrition solutions with a combination of Premium products and Knowledge through a unique Farmer centric approach. Yara’s philosophy is to connect with thousands of farmers at the grass root level and has a solid commitment to serving the agriculture sector in India, thereby improving the livelihood of the Indian farmers. To leverage this and to expand into the northern & eastern geographies of India, Yara acquired Tata Chemicals’ 1.2 MN MT Urea plant in UP, Northern India. With this acquisition, Yara India’s scale of operation has grown significantly.

Responsibilities

To promote and develop Employer’s Yara crop nutrition business in the Area/Region. Principal Tasks (as described below in the current role, but not limited to):

  • Planning and implementation of demand creation activity in coordination with sales and marketing team.
  • Close working at farmer level to create demand for the Yara product portfolio.
  • Responsible to liquidate the material in the area/region.
  • Directly responsible for all the demos and trials laid in the area.
  • Demos data collection, interpretation, and final reporting.
  • Planning and organizing of effective crops shows to promote Yara product portfolio.
  • Driving the Yara crop nutrition program (Crop Plan concept) in the area.
  • Need base planning, organizing, and addressing of farmers meeting and crop seminars.
  • Planning and conducting of training program for sales team before start of the season to update their knowledge and organize and train them for required market action plan.

Responsibilities

  • To workout best value chain partners of the area/crop in the region and to develop good coordination with them to promote Yara business.
  • Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets in your area.
  • Timely reporting for self as well team working in area/region.
  • To ensure compliance of HESQ policies of Yara at work.
  • Compliance at Yara India.
  • Promoting and ensuring compliance with any statutory or regulatory requirements related to Yara’s business in India.
  • Managing the business practices as per Yara’s Code of conduct and ethics guidelines.

Profile

Qualification:

  • First Class Postgraduate/Doctorate in Agronomy, Soil Science, Horticulture in Agriculture domains.
  • Proficiency in data handling and MS Office.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 6 & Above Years of hands-on experience in Agronomy, Product Development, Sales, marketing in the Agriculture Industry.
  • Proven track record in the areas of operations.
