Usage notes

⟨⯓⟩ is the most common astrological symbol for Pluto in English-language sources, and perhaps globally. It was originally an exclusively astrological symbol, with only ⟨♇⟩ being used in astronomy (though often ⟨♇⟩ was found in astrology as well). However, since the 2006 reclassification of Pluto as a dwarf planet, ⟨⯓⟩ has seen some use in astronomical sources.
