MAJOR DISLIKE for the new updates. I relied a lot on TripAdvisor when I planned my first Solo trip to NZ earlier this year in April. My favourite feature of the app was being able to drag and drop the activities/pin them to certain dates. The OLD TripAdvisor app made my planning so much easier! I can't say the same for this NEW TripAdvisor. IMO, TripAdvisor doesn't stand out amongst its competitors anymore. I might as well just jot down the list of places I want to go and then look it up on Google. You need to rectify this severe discomfort and inconvenience brought to your users/consumers. My new year resolution for you guys would be to see vast improvements or simply reverse some of the silly "updates" by end December.

I rely on TA heavily on the road for things to do, restos etc and hotel reviews. Biggest complaint is how difficult it is to post a review using phone app. Hard to search phone pics as they all show up as 1 long gallery. Scrolling is very hard, sometimes it'll just jump to old pics making it hard to back track to recent pics. Editing text is also hard as scroll/cursor is hard to control and text window is very small. Also, NO WAY TO SAVE DRAFTS!!!

I only installed it because TripAdvisor does not allow to view all reviews and information in mobile version of their website. The design is poor. I've only been using it for 5 minutes and already noticed that some improvements can be made. For example when I search a property there is no option to write a review for it, I have to go separately to reviews section and find that property again. Also, seems unable to edit profile through the app.
