Update: just lost all the photos taken by the glasses because the app update disabled photo and video transfer. Had to factory reset and wait a week for an app fix. Why is there no simple way to connect a cable and transfer? This app makes good hardware bad. Videos from Instagram do not save and disappear. Phone will not connect and will not transfer photos

Had my first pair of rayban meta. After one month, I had to replace them due to hardware failure. The new ones are flimsy, and the lenses are loose. The software is very limited, basically I can take photos and short videos or listen to music. There is 0 AI functionality. On top of that, POV videocalling has disappeared after the last update. Really disappointed

When it works it's okay, but each alternate update seems to break support for my phone. Works one time, then not the next update. Busted again now. And why the hell hasn't the AI been released in Australia? It's not like we speak that different to the USA. Great concept, not so hot software implementation. After the reply from meta support - which was really quick - I was able to get back up and running by reinstalling the app. Pain in the butt, though, cos then I had to pre-set up all over.
