I like key point summaries of books. Sometimes a summary is all I need, and other times it motivates me to read the book. 3-stars because Blinkist is using AI for some summaries: I find these very hard to listen to, they interfere with my ability to focus on the content because the phrasing lack of emotion in the voice make it hard for me to focus on the content. At a minimum, it should be transparent about which summaries are AI voices and which are human so we can choose the format.

Thanks for your feedback. We do use AI for select titles (not all of them), as it allows us to produce even more content for you each week. But we’ll continue to use our human narrators as well. After end of a content, it keeps going offline, even if there's no update. When it goes offline, you cannot get anywhere within the app. I don't have problems with other app when this happened. Maybe you should fix it, the problem persists for months, which I'm starting to regret getting a Yearly Subscription. It's a pain. -- To Developer: No, I will not send any e-mail. You already saw an amount of complaints of the same issue from other users. Go improve, shouldn't rely on my effort.

Starting with the cons: 1) Relatively expensive 2) No quality control over the various blinks. They range from very good to quite bad. Also would help to have user reviews to know which blinks are good. There are plenty of pros though: 1) Life is too short to read a bad book. I don't think a blink can completely replace a book but it does help sort the good books from the bad ones. And then you can decide to buy the whole book if you really liked the information in it. 2) The audio books are a fantastic companion when doing chores/exercising etc 3) Extensive selection of titles, categories and the "for you" section gets it right more often than not. 4) Is really useful for the sort of books that can be condensed into points

What's new
Big ideas don’t only come in small packages—they sometimes come with small updates too! This time around we did some small bug-fixes and made sure everything is up to snuff so you can get insights in no time.
