Weston-super-Mare est urbs Somersetensis comitatus in Anglia occidentali sita. Homines fere 76 000 ibi nostro tempore habitant.

Tabularium diarii Weston Mercury ab Iohanne Price anno 1885 aedificatum

Vicus parvus Weston (scilicet "fundus occidentalis", quod nomen alia compita plura huius regionis habent; agnomine Latino "super Mare" ab episcopo quodam causa discretiva addito), in paroeciam saeculo XIII elevatus, ab omnibus fere ignotus est nisi quod lapis calaminaris(en) e monte adiacenti Worlebury ab anno circiter 1560 effossa est.[1] Ad litora Manicae Bristoliensis positus, aeri salubri fruens, solem occidentem spectans, saeculo XVIII exeunte Weston locum otiosum fit: iam anno circa 1773 Anna More(en) scriptrix hic ad salutem recreandam venit et in paroecia Uphill morabat. Subito saeculo XIX ineunte augeri coepit: ad Weston mox conveniebant et breve spatium degebant familiae modestiores Bristolienses, ab anno 1841 per viam ferream iter facientes: ferrivia enim a Bristolio Exoniam tendens nuper perfecta est, designatore Isambardo Kingdom Brunel qui his annis in Weston-super-Mare habitabat. Taliter Cardiffenses Noviburgensesque, navibus traiectoribus trans Manicam profectae, ad molem Birnbeck anno 1867 architecto Eugenio Birch perfectam descendebant.

Moles maior (Grand Pier) anno 2018 lucis ope picta

Regiones urbanas novas rapidius creaverunt aedificatores et architecti, stilo vel stilis Victorianis laborantes, quorum princeps Iohannes Price apud Weston-super-Mare habitabat.[2] Altera moles deversoria e media urbe proiecta, nomine Grand Pier, anno 1903 inaugurata est.
